Mayor Holden Receives IUPA Award

Mayor-President "Kip" Holden received the International Union of Police Association's Meritorious Service Award at the convention held in Orlando, Florida. The award is the organization's top national service honor recognizing elected officials who work closely with public safety.

During his acceptance speech, Mayor Holden recognized the sacrifices police officers make saying, "The safety of our community depends on the sacrifices you make."

New Website Features

Hopefully you have noticed the updated website. We have made some changes in programming allowing for faster updates and easier use.
